Website & Trial Terms
Last updated: 29 September 2026
1. Scope and contractual architecture
These Website & Trial Terms (“Terms”) govern access to the VelocityHero website and any evaluation or trial use of the VelocityHero service (the “Service”) provided by VelocityHero AB (“VelocityHero”, “we”, “us”) before a separate written customer agreement takes effect.
If VelocityHero AB and your organisation enter into a separate written agreement for the Service (for example an order form and SaaS agreement signed via DocuSign or otherwise), that agreement governs your use of the Service from its effective date and prevails over these Terms in the event of any conflict.
Our Privacy Policy continues to apply to personal data independently of these Terms.
2. Eligibility and accounts
The Service is offered for business use. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent that you have authority to bind the organisation you act for (where applicable). You are responsible for account credentials and for activity under your organisation.
3. Trial and evaluation access
VelocityHero may provide access to the Service for a limited evaluation period (typically fourteen (14) days, unless otherwise agreed in writing). Trial access is provided solely so your organisation can evaluate the Service and may be subject to agreed scope, such as number of projects, users, or integrations.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, either party may discontinue a trial at any time. Trial access does not create an obligation to purchase the Service.
Continued use after the trial requires a separate written agreement with VelocityHero AB. We may disable trial access when the evaluation ends or if these Terms are breached.
4. Third-party integrations
The Service may connect to third-party systems you choose. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary authority and permissions to connect those systems and to make related data available to VelocityHero, and for complying with applicable third-party terms.
5. Customer data and ownership
Your organisation retains all rights in data made available to VelocityHero (“Customer Data”). You grant VelocityHero a limited right to process Customer Data solely as necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and support the trial Service and as otherwise permitted under the DPA.
6. Data Processing Addendum
Where VelocityHero processes Personal Data on behalf of your organisation during a trial, the VelocityHero Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”) applies to that processing and is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Where the parties subsequently enter into a written customer agreement, the applicability of the DPA is governed by that agreement.
7. Confidentiality
Each party may receive non-public information from the other in connection with a trial (“Confidential Information”). Each party will use reasonable care to protect Confidential Information, use it only for evaluating or providing the Service, and not disclose it to third parties except to personnel and advisors under confidentiality obligations, or as required by law.
Confidential Information does not include information that is or becomes public through no fault of the receiving party, was already known without duty of confidentiality, is independently developed, or is rightfully received from a third party without restriction.
The obligations in this section survive the end of the trial for three (3) years, except that trade secrets remain protected for as long as they remain trade secrets under applicable law.
8. VelocityHero intellectual property
VelocityHero and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, software, documentation, designs, methods, models, and related technology. These Terms do not transfer ownership of VelocityHero intellectual property. Customer Data remains yours as stated above.
9. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the Service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, or use VelocityHero in violation of applicable law or applicable third-party terms.
10. Disclaimers
Trial access is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. VelocityHero provides decision-support information based on available project signals. Outputs, insights, scores, nudges, and recommendations do not guarantee project outcomes and do not replace professional judgment or management responsibility.
11. Liability (trial)
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VelocityHero’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to website access or trial use under these Terms shall not exceed SEK 10,000. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Paid use under a separate written agreement is governed by that agreement’s liability terms, not this section.
12. End of trial and data
When a trial ends or is discontinued, VelocityHero may disable access. Unless you convert to a paid agreement or we agree otherwise, we typically retain trial-related organisation data for about thirty (30) days to support delayed procurement, then delete it. You may request earlier deletion. Where Personal Data is processed on behalf of your organisation, the DPA also applies.
13. Fees
Website browsing and standard trial evaluation are without charge unless otherwise agreed. Fees, invoicing, and commercial terms for ongoing use are set only in a separate written agreement with VelocityHero AB.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Material changes may also be communicated in-product or by email when appropriate. Continued trial use after the effective date of updates constitutes acceptance, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of Sweden have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer or other protections that cannot be waived.
